You might be aware of the Gift Aid scheme which gives charities 20% addition to any donation received. If you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid increases the value of your charity donations by allowing charities to reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift at no extra cost to you! That’s a whopping 25p for every £1 you give. Receiving gift aid would really help increase the much needed funds for our Chabad House through your donations.
